About me
Mixing and mastering music production is my passion.
I was born a boy, which caused my family a lot of confusion, since I was supposed to be Agnes. My brother could not hide his disappointment for a long time after my birth, and when he finally accepted me as his brother, he started forcing me to play the accordion with dubious satisfaction. The result? I accepted music totally, but the accordion only halfway. I completed my education with a master’s degree in music and, life being as it is, I probably won’t start a PhD education. Yet I have managed to open Efektura – a studio which has become the fulfilment of my musical dreams. Living in the world of sounds, working with sounds – it is marvellous to do what you always wanted to do. I manage Efektura out of my sense of responsibility – someone has to do it. I do not possess an office though – what for? I am perfectly comfortable with my "composing room" – a private studio others have no access to. It is here that I come up with my best ideas – not only musical ones. It is the place where I compose, work with mastering and mixes, calm myself and relax. As for relaxation: as in my professional life, I used to be quite certain that I had arranged my life quite well - billiards, diving, photography and more diving. So I thought. But only when my oldest son Paweł was born did I realize how wrong I had been. Diving has become a blurred memory, as has photography – especially the underwater pictures. Oh, and there was billiards as well. In this area things look slightly better - sometimes we play together. That said, when taking into consideration his age, it is an uneven fight and I constantly loose.
